Pentecost Potluck Picnic
St. Augustine would like to proclaim the beginning of Summer as well as Pentecost Sunday with a Pentecost Potluck Picnic!  Join us to celebrate summer, Pentecost, and friends—old and new—following the 10:30 Mass on Sunday, June 5th.  St. Augustine will provide the meat (pulled pork, chicken and hotdogs).
Please bring items to share.  If your last name begins with:
A—N / Casserole, Side Dish or Salad
O—Z / Dessert
There will be a sign up sheet in the Narthex as well as a link on the St. Augustine website.  We will have some activities for the kids, but if you have any fun yard games like corn hole or jenga, please bring them to share.  Father John may even get a game of half rubber going.
For questions or volunteer opportunities, please contact Angie Nunley at nunleyam@epbfi.com or call the Parish Office.

Altar Servers Needed
Become and Altar Server and get the best seat in church!  You get to see the Mass from a very different point of view, plus it will build your confidence.  The more you serve, the easier it gets and the more responsibilities you’ll receive.  Flexible scheduling and only 1 hour time commitment!
Parents, this is a wonderful ministry for children to serve the Lord at Mass and our parish.
If your child (grade 4 and up) is interested in serving, please contact Larry Sparks at lsparks7822@gmail.com.

Coffee and Doughnuts
After 10:30 Mass

Looking for a great opportunity to meet fellow parishioners?  Consider serving coffee and doughnuts after 10:30 Mass!  The church provides coffee and lemonade and Parish Life is looking for folks to provide doughnuts.
For more information contact Leslie Kelly at ldaviskelly@comcast.net or signup on the sheet outside of the PLC.

Mother Mary’s Prayer Cenacle
Are you looking to deepen your prayer life this Lent? Come join us as we come together with our Blessed Mother to pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit in the “Upper Room” (Cenacle is Latin for Upper Room). We use the format of the Marian Movement of Priests as we pray the Rosary, read and comment on a message from the Blue Book, and renew our consecration to Our Lady.
For more information see https://mmp-usa.net.
We meet in the first room on left in the education wing at 9:00 am on Wednesdays. You don’t need to be consecrated to Mother Mary to see what it’s all about, just come away……and pray.

St. Augustine is a vibrant community of Catholic Christians united in faith, filled with hope, and prompted by love.  Anchored in the truth, who is Jesus Christ, we proclaim by the Holy Spirit that we are saved by the grace available to us from God the Father and revealed in Christ.  We joyfully share our faith and evangelize our community through daily worship services, charitable service, and educational opportunities.  Whatever we do, we do for the glory of God and in the name of Jesus Christ giving thanks to God the Father through Him.
