Who?
LoveEd is a gender / age specific workshop for parents and their children ages 9-14.
What is covered?
Each Parent / Child Event is divided into five segments called “Acts.” Each level and gender’s video has appropriate differences, but in all four groups, the five acts have these general themes:
Act 1: meets your child at their level with a short film about the struggles of growing up from a kid’s perspective.
Act 2: introduces the way that love is learned in the context of family, friendship and romance, with the virtues that are to be learned in each circle of love.
Act 3: zooms out beyond earth to tell the story of God’s divine love. It shows how God’s love
redeemed us.
Act 4: includes age and gender appropriate biological information parents need to discuss with their preteens or teens. Both age groups review the puberty information, how to manage it, and how our changing bodies are part of God’s amazing plan. The adolescent Level 2 teaches about God’s plan for marriage, the marriage act, conception and fetal development.
Act 5: gives parents and their children the opportunity to discuss the practical and moral advice they need for their journey forward.
After each act the parent and child will have a time to discuss privately the information they just learned.
At Home Follow-Up: There will likely be some topics your child will feel more comfortable discussing later, after they have had time to process what they learned. Each workbook contains six additional chapters and reflections that can be reviewed at home.

FAQ:
- The ages listed are recommendations. Some children may not be mature enough at age 9 to hear this information. It is up to parents to decide if their children are ready / open for the information discussed in LoveEd.
- If the parent of the same gender is not available, a close and loving substitute can assist, or the opposite-sex parent can attend if necessary.
